Centre Introduction

Recent years, more and more citizens are stressed with economic and financial issues. Individual, family and society will be affected if the issues remain unsolved.

Therefore, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals collaborated with Hong Kong Institutes of Certified Public Accountants for launching the Healthy Budgeting Family Debt Counselling Programme in June 2002.

This programme provided professional accounting consultations and emotional counselling to the needy. T.W.G.Hs Healthy Budgeting Family Debt Counselling Centre has formally set up to help those indebted since 2003.

Our Mission

Our centre provides one-stop comprehensive services to clients who face debt issues. It is our mission to assist clients to handle the debts properly, thereby improving emotional healthiness and to enhance the harmonious family relationships. As prevention is always better than remedy give afterwards, our centre also promotes the concept of Healthy Budgeting proactively to the public.

Characteristic of our Services

One-stop Integrated Services

Our services are provided by specially trained social workers, who offer counselling service on clients’ emotional distress and interpersonal relationship while settling their debt issues. We also transfer client to other relevant social service units if necessary.

Cross-Sectoral Support
